Turquoise Nuggets transform one of the Southwest’s most extraordinary minerals into large-scale forms for public, private and architectural environments. Inspired by the irregular geometry, color and mineral matrix of natural turquoise, each Nugget is built as a durable GFRC structure over a steel armature and finished by hand to create its own geological character.
They are sculpture, seating, gathering places—and at larger scales, landscapes for play.
SMALL NUGGET
Sculptural seating
Approximately 40 × 33 × 39 inches.

MEDIUM NUGGET
Climbable landscape sculpture
Approximately 93 × 76 × 72 inches.
Part sculpture, part landscape, the Medium Nugget invites climbing, sitting and exploration while retaining a strong sculptural presence.
BUILT LIKE ARCHITECTURE. FINISHED LIKE STONE.
Developed in collaboration with an experienced climbing-sculpture fabricator, each Turquoise Nugget combines a steel armature and durable GFRC shell with an individually hand-finished mineral surface.
The surfaces evoke the color shifts, fractures, inclusions and earthy matrix found in natural turquoise. No two need be exactly alike.

Custom scale, surface character and site integration can be developed for individual projects.
Turquoise Nuggets can be commissioned for sculpture gardens, parks, hospitality projects, residential landscapes, schools, cultural spaces and architectural environments.
